THIS IS AN AUTHENTIC HARDWOOD ICON HOLDER. ICONOSTASIS SOLID PINE. CROSS IS CEDAR OR OAK. FINISHED WITH TUNG OIL. HAS HOOKS TO HANG ON THE WALL AND FOOT PADS IF YOU WISH TO PUT IT ON A STAND OR TABLE TOP. THE EDGES ARE CHAMFERED OR ROUNDED. OUTSIDE MEASUREMENTS 12 X 18 INCHES AND WITH CROSS MOUNTED HEIGHT IS 23 INCHES HIGH. INSIDE ICON HOLDER SIZE IS 9.75 X 13.25 INCHES.

This project began as a 'tiny guitar' which my grandson Constantine and I started and developed into a small 'BAGLAMA'. I put an electric pickup in it to help with the sound. Fluorocarbon strings.

The sides are made of Tiger wood veneer. Below you can see the body looks like an airplane fuselage. I will work at fine tuning this design to make it lighter and more friendly to the vibrating strings.

The natural wood STEFANOTHIKI is the same size as the white one. I can do cross in polpar, cedar,oak or walnut. Other options for the finish and icon are available.
